Auditions are NOT required for Malachi Minis

 

AUDITION SCHEDULE

Auditions take place from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM each day.

2026 SEASON AT A GLANCE

AUDITION / REHERSAL LOCATION

 

Auditions and all rehearsals take place at the Malachi Warehouse:

Mile High Flea Market

7007 E 88th Ave, Henderson, CO 80640

GET DIRECTIONS

Admission to the flea market grounds is FREE for Malachi participants. Upon arrival, tell the gate attendant you are with Malachi. Proceed past the attendant and immediately turn right. The Malachi warehouse is the last building on the left. Please park in the lot in front of the warehouse.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULES

We rehearse each weekend until the season concludes the second weekend of April 2026 at the WGI World Finals in Dayton, OH. There will be occasional holiday breaks. A final rehearsal schedule will be provided.

World Team Weekend Schedule

Rehearsals Begin Oct 5

  • Friday 7:00 - 11:00 PM

  • Saturday 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM

  • Sunday 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM

A Team Weekend Schedule

Rehearsals Begin Oct 12

  • Friday 7:00 - 10:00 PM

  • Saturday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

ESTIMATED FINANCIAL COMMITMENT

$2,500. Fundraisers are available to help offset tuition costs.

TENTATIVE COMPETITION SCHEDULE

Performance dates will be provided as these organizations set their schedules:

  • Local competitions in the Rocky Mountain Color Guard Association (RMCGA) circuit

  • WGI Regional (Local)

  • WGI Power Regional (Travel)

  • WGI Championships (Travel)

OUR AUDITION PROCESS

WHAT TO KNOW

  • Everyone auditions for Malachi, including veterans/alumni. There are NO guaranteed spots for any performer leading into the season.

  • You are expected to attend the entire time (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM) for each day of auditions.

  • Each audition day begins at performer check-in. Please arrive early so we can start promptly at 10:00 AM.

  • Audition Fees. You may pay when registering online or when you arrive to the pre-audition camp or audition. We accept cash, card, Venmo, Paypal, Zelle, and check.

    • Pre-Audition Camp (optional): $40.00​

    • Audition: $50.00 (includes call-backs)

    • Pre-Audition & Audition Bundle Price: $75.00 (includes call-backs)

  • Audition day will be fast-paced. Listen, remain present throughout the day, and approach new things with an open mind and a great attitude! 

  • Stay hydrated and energized – please bring a water bottle/jug and healthy, energizing snacks/lunch.

  • You will be evaluated individually and in full ensemble, sections, and smaller groups. 

  • Our instructional, design, and administration teams will determine our final cast to ensure all prospective cast members are evaluated as equally as possible.

  • Be yourself! We get a good sense of each other when we are our most authentic selves.​

AUDITION BEST PRACTICES

  • Be prepared

  • Be kind and have a good attitude about the skills you are learning and are asked to demonstrate

  • Dress appropriately

  • Introduce yourself and make new friends

  • Remember that mistakes happen - it's the effort that we are looking for

  • It is ok to be nervous

  • HAVE FUN!

AUDITION RESULTS

Audition results are emailed within 48 hours of the conclusion of the audition weekend. Please be patient as we sort through the details to ensure accuracy.
