Jacque Luebbers

A Team Staff

Jacque grew up in Colorado and started dancing at the age of three. She went through middle school trying different sports like basketball and volleyball until she found her passion for color guard. She started as a freshman at Pomona high school under the direction of Jennifer Wagner Carrasco. After graduating in 2016, she joined the Malachi organization. She started out on the Open Class team and then advanced to the World Class team where she has been for the last three years. She is continually advancing her skills by helping as a tech at Pomona high school and currently is the assistant coach for the Horizon high school color guard. She is extremely excited about this upcoming season and can’t wait for this new adventure.

Javante Washington

A Team Staff

Please welcome Javante Washington. This is his second season working with Malachi A. He has marched with the Malachi organization in 2015-2019 in addition to the 2020 season. He has also marched three season of Drum Corps international with one year with Madison Scouts in 2015 and two with Santa Clara Vanguard in 2017 2018. He is very excited to be working with such talented and hardworking kids and is excited to see where this season takes them.

Megan Schmid

A Team Staff

Megan Schmid is 21 years old and has been involved with colorguard since 2013, which is when she joined the Centaurus High School marching band. She continued to be involved in both their marching band and winterguard programs until 2018. In 2017 and 2018 she marched with the Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps, and after a year break from the activity, she was a member of Malachi World in 2020. Megan has previously taught at Standley Lake High School in 2019 and 2020. She is excited to again be a member of Malachi World this season, 2021, and to be member of the A Team staff!
